What is needed?

300 g

Spelt flour

250 ml

Whole milk

3

Eggs

6.2 oz

Butter

80 g

Sugar

1/2 bag

Baking powder

1 pinch

Salt

2 tsp

Powdered sugar

150 g

Mixed berries

Preparation

First, place the butter, sugar, and salt in a bowl and mix with a hand mixer until the sugar has dissolved. This takes about 3 minutes. Then, add the eggs and continue mixing until the batter becomes frothy. Mix the spelt flour and baking powder together and add them to the batter. Add the milk while stirring. Grease the waffle iron and cook the batter for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Once the waffles are ready, dust with powdered sugar and garnish with the berries, then serve. Tip: The waffles taste best with whipped cream and cherries.
